Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael – Jewish National Fund invites you to celebrate an exciting event in which about a billion birds migrating over the skies of Israel on their way to Africa or back to Europe. You are invited to participate in tours and activities for the entire family about nature and connecting with the world of birds, alongside professional competitions.
Among the activities: the Tzaparaton Challenge for Families – At the end of which, one family that wins the lottery, will hike for two days throughout Israel accompanied by an expert birdwatcher and discover the mysterious world of birds. In addition, a national photography competition, a bird identification marathon and bird watching tours will be conducted.

Photography Competition October 20-21, 2024
A marathon of bird photographing in three categories: Teen and youth photography, amateur photographers and photographers with professional equipment.
In addition, a special mobile phone photography competition will open for pictures related to special habitats for birds. The competition is conducted in cooperation with the Association of Nature Photographers in Israel. Valuable prizes will be awarded to the winners.
The best pictures will be presented in an exhibit that will take place in cooperation with the Photograph Archive of KKL-JNF, and in an online competition on the KKL-JNF, the photographer who wins the "Audience Favorite" competition shall be awarded a valuable prize (The "Audience Favorite" competition shall take place from October 27 and until November 7, 2024.)
