Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael-Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF), a leading player in global environmental and climate action, is participating once again this year in the world’s largest climate conference, set to take place in Azerbaijan. Since 2007, KKL-JNF has actively engaged in the United Nations climate conferences (UNFCCC), and in 2009, it was granted observer status accreditation.

In a powerful evening of testimony on November 3rd, Noa Argamani and Moran Stella Yanai, both released hostages, shared their harrowing journeys with over 2,000 members of the South African Jewish community. The event, organized by Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael-Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF) in partnership with JNF-South Africa and The Base Synagogue, highlighting the ongoing plight of over 100 hostages still held in Gaza by Hamas.

The agreement was signed on Sunday, November 3, in a ceremony that took place in the presence of the Mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Leon, KKL-JNF Chairwoman, Ifat Ovadia-Luski, and other exalted guests.
