Despite the Ceasefire in the North: These are the KKL-JNF sites and forests that are still closed to the public

Even though the North remains quiet following the ceasefire, the Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael – Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF) is announcing that several sites and forests shall remain closed to hikers and bicycle riders. The reason for the closure: The concern of falling burnt trees and safety hazards.

KKL-JNF is working diligently to restore the sites that were damaged but is asking the public to avoid visiting them until further notice regarding their reopening. The Goal: To ensure a safe and orderly experience for all visitors.

Shelly Ben Ishay, Director of the Northern Region in KKL-JNF: "We are making every effort to restore the sites that were damaged and to ensure they are reopened safely for the public at large. This is a complex process that requires time, but the safety and welfare of the visitors is our top priority. We thank the public for its patience and understanding and invite everyone to enjoy the sites and trails that are currently open".
