A Customized KKL-JNF-Zionist Experience for Groups from the Diaspora

Green Days is an experiential educational framework of KKL-JNF, intended for groups from the diaspora who seek to deepen the connection with Israel through nature, work, values and a significant experience.
 

Education, Nature and Values – In a Way Suited for You

The activity is customized for each group – in accordance with the character of the participants, their age, the duration of their stay in Israel, areas of interest and educational needs. No two "Green Days" are identical: each experience is planned in cooperation with the Department, paying attention to the goals of the group and the wishes of the educators.

What Do Green Days Include?

A Link Between Man, the Land and the Community
 
The Green Days combined activities in the field, experiential learning and direct encounters with the values of KKL-JNF and with the ongoing story of the Zionist enterprise.
The activity may include, among other things: 
  • Tours and activities in nature and in KKL-JNF forests
  • Experiencing the environmental and communal work
  • Familiarity with the values of sustainability, environmental protection and solidarity
  • Linking between the contributions of communities in the diaspora for the development of the land and the reality in the field
  • Educational activities that are age appropriate and adapted to the audience and its duration
The emphasis is upon learning through experience, creating personal involvement and an emotional connection with Israel.

Green days are not a closed or uniform program. Together with the staff from the Overseas Education Department of KKL-JNF, a unique educational experience is built, including: 
  • A variable number of days
  • A flexible duration of activity
  • Adaptation to formal and informal frameworks
  • Integration of educational content, the field, work and experience
The goal is to create a KKL-JNF-Zionist experience that precisely matches your group.
