Eshtaol Forest

KKL-JNF has constructed an abundance of recreation areas in Eshtaol Forest, mainly along the road through the forest that goes from KKL-JNF's offices in Eshtaol to Neve Shalom. They contain picnic tables, children's playgrounds, places to rest and relax, and scenic lookouts. There are wheelchair-accessible tables at the Panoramic Scenic Lookout Recreation Area in the heart of the forest.

O'Higgins Recreation Area – a large recreation area with a playground. Access is from the direction of the JNF offices in Eshtaol, after the HaZeitim recreation area at the entrance to the forest. About a km past HaZeitim, the road reaches the O'Higgins recreation area, one of the main recreation sites in the forest.

Abie Nathan Recreation Area – picnic tables shaded by pine trees, near Neve Shalom.

Panoramic Scenic Lookout (Mitzpor Panorami) Recreation Area – a large recreation area with a playground. Accessible to people with disabilities.
Burma Road Recreation Areas – There are several recreation areas along the road, some of them with wheelchair-accessible tables. Entrance is from Mesilat Zion or from the Harel Scenic Lookout.
