Goren Park

Goren Park is located at the top of a mighty cliff that rises above the northern bank of Nahal Kziv. From the edge of the cliff there are spectacular views of the Nahal Kziv Nature Reserve and the Western Galilee. On the steep slope opposite the park, the Montfort Crusader fortress stands out among the green woodland’s trees. KKL-JNF began cultivating Goren Park in 1963. The park, which covers about 2,000 dunams, has marked hiking trails, scenic lookouts and historical sites. KKL-JNF built recreation areas for both day stays and overnight camping, and installed water taps and two restrooms (open from 9:00 to 17:00). The recreation areas have wheelchair-accessible tables. A disabled-accessible path leads from the recreation area at the scenic lookout to the spectacular observation point on the Montfort Fortress.
