Hiking in Boots Festival in the Carmel

Hiking in Boots, a colorful winter festival in the Carmel, will be held on the weekends in December and over Hanukkah, with plenty of activities for the whole family.



A colorful winter festival held during weekends in December invites visitors to enjoy the spectacle of nature coming to life; the flow of the rivers in the Carmel and beautiful wildflowers beginning to bloom.

The Hiking in Boots festival will be held in conjunction with KKL-JNF.

Visitors to the Hiking in Boots festival can enjoy nature walks in the Carmel, drama performances in the woods, and cooking workshops with chefs on spices and herbs growing in the Carmel region.

Visitors can also participate in the Hagigada Festival in Ein Hod, and enrichment activities at the Carmel Hai-Bar Nature Reserve, enrichment activities at the Nahal Me'arot caves, the park lake, Ramat Hanadiv and Caesarea, special lantern tours on Hanukkah, workshops, performances and other winter activities that are perfect for boots at local tourist sites.

During the festival, KKL-JNF will lead tours and family activities for families at various sites in the Carmel area.
