A large recreation area in the shade of a pine grove. KKL-JNF has set up picnic tables in the site in beautiful nooks, and in the center of it there is a children's playground. From the western end of the recreation area, at the edge of the grove, you can view the Nahal Raz reservoir (Pirha Reservoir), which is full of water in the winter. In the open areas at the edge of the grove, there is a beautiful bloom of flowers in season.
Directions: About 4.5 km south of Ein HaShofet Junction (Route 672, between Km markings 14 and 15), turn west. At the first intersection, right next to the road, turn left towards the KKL-JNF sign for “Gilead Forest.” From that point, continue driving for another 300 m to the recreation area.
Warnings:
1. Because there is a solid white dividing line on the road, entry to the recreation area is possible only for those coming from the north (from the direction of Dalia) and you can exit only towards the south.
2. The recreation area is about 400 m from the road. The road to the recreation area is rough but negotiable for private vehicles. Drive slowly and carefully.
