KKL-JNF for Tomorrow

The public is invited to come and plant trees during the holiday in the forests and parks with Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael – Jewish National Fund personnel.

The activity shall take place on Friday, 16 Shevat 5785, February 14, 2025, free of charge and no need to register.

In the North: Ahihud Forest at 09:00-13:00.

The event is accessible. Handicap parking and handicap bathrooms are available. The road is not paved; therefore, a special area has been set aside for planting for those with mobility issues (there may be some difficulty moving around with a wheelchair).

In the South: Rahat Forest at 09:00-13:00.
The event is not accessible.

Families and organized groups are invited to take part in the tree planting events of KKL-JNF throughout Israel.

KKL-JNF's green truck will crisscross Israel and spread joy to the public. The truck will visit hospitals, retirement homes, military bases, hostels, educational institutions, city centers, communal farms and many other locations and will celebrate Tu Bishevat with the participants in a festive atmosphere with a musical stage, Holiday songs and the finest songs of the Land of Israel.

Get to know the course of a sapling's life from the gathering of seeds and until it leaves the tree nursery to the forest, in a day of experiential activities, musical activities and preparing a creation from materials in nature.

In honor of the festive opening of KKL-JNF Agamon Hula, the public is invited to a festive Tu Bishevat Seder with Einat Sarouf

In honor of the New Year of the Trees, we invite you to a fascinating meeting in KKL-JNF's Seeds Department. We will hear about KKL-JNF's "Alpinists" Unit, whose members climb tall trees in order to collect the best seeds in the forest. We will see how seeds are treated and guarded until it is time to send them to our tree nurseries.

Where? The KKL-JNF Seeds Institute – Beit Nehemia (Waze: Beit Nehemia).
After turning to the Moshav, turn left at the first turn – to the parking lot.

We will head out on a tour of a special garden where 350 species of trees grow side by side. We will hear the heroic tale of those unique trees and how they contend with the annual seasons, natural hazards and more. We will enjoy the activities and workshops, which elevate both body and soul.

Where? The Ilanot Botanical Garden (Waze: The Ilanot Arboretum Botanical Garden and in Pardesiya).
