Kulanu Or Eitan – A Tour of Menorahs Marking Unity and Bravery

KKL-JNF invites the public at large to a unique and empowering tour of menorahs.
December 16-21, 2025 | 21 Kislev – 1 Tevet | 17:30-21:00
The tours shall be accompanied by musicians and actors dressed for the holiday, shall have candle lighting at a hosted location and more.

Jerusalem – Nachlaot

Tuesday December 16 | Sunday December 21
We will walk through the magical alleyways of Nachlaot, to the light of the menorahs placed in the entrances to homes. We will delve into the stories of the neighborhoods, their rich past and their present charm.

Bnei Brak

Tuesday December 16 | Sunday December 21
We will tour the streets of the city to the light of menorahs, discover the Haredi world, the Hassidic streams and the customs of the holiday.

Jerusalem – The Old City

Wednesday December 17
We will go out and tour the magical streets of ancient Jerusalem and the Jewish Quarter, around lights, menorahs, stories and songs.

"Light and Valor in the Forests of KKL-JNF"

A Family Trek to Lamplight

We will set out on a unique adventure and a different experience in the evenings of the Hanukkah holiday. We will trek through the forest in the dark by lamplight. We will feel and learn about the forest nightlife (is it awake or does it sleep), we will hear stories of valor, become excited by legends and fascinating campfire stories, which will accompany us along the route. We will hear about the forest, its development and the importance of maintaining a clean forest.
We will be exposed to nocturnal animals, become excited by the sounds and sights of the forest in darkness. We will light Hanukkah candles and finish with hot and tasty herbal tea!

The tour is suitable for parents and children (age 5 and above)

Duration of the trek: About two and half hours.

"Trees Celebrating Hanukkah"

A Family Happening Between the Raindrops

An experiential activity for families with children marking valor and victory. We will set out on a short trek through the Botanical Garden and hear about the valor of the trees. We will visit the visitors center, an interactive center dealing with trees and the forest. We will play "Hanukkah treasure", a navigation game for the family bearing prizes which is played with cellphones. Free of charge. No registration required.

When? Tuesday to Thursday, 26-28 Kislev 5786, December 16-18, 2025, at 10:00-15:00.

International Accessibility Day

Activities and experiences at accessible sites of KKL-JNF throughout Israel.

Intended for participants with or without disabilities, who will experience interactive experiences in the forest:
Extreme sport, creative workshops and storytellers, musical activities and more. Free of charge.
