On December 2022, the KKL-JNF Board of Directors chose Ifat Ovadia-Luski as the next Chairwoman of KKL-JNF. Ovadia-Luski made history by becoming the first woman chosen for the role.
Ovadia-Luski holds a Master’s Degree with honors in Administration and Education Policy from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Hebrew Literature and History from the Hebrew University. She headed the Department of Hebrew Language and Culture at the World Zionist Organization, leading successful projects for implementing the Hebrew language in a wide variety of Jewish communities in different countries. In the past, she served as CEO of the World Likud and served in varied positions in the public sector.
Ovadia-Luski was raised on the values of the Betar Movement, and in every position she served, acted in complete faith for the Jewish people and the land of Israel. Among her notable roles in the past, she served as a member of the Public Council for the Commemoration of Ze'ev Jabotinsky, as a council member of the Betar Movement, and in the national institutes as a member of the Jewish Agency Board of Trustees, a member of the Board of Governors of the Israeli Appeal, and a member of the Zionist Movement.
