The 29th International Climate Conference (COP29), scheduled for November 2024, presents KKL-JNF with a key opportunity to showcase its innovative environmental initiatives and cutting-edge technology aimed at addressing some of the world’s most urgent climate challenges.
“COP29 is an invaluable platform to build international partnerships, drive climate action, and solidify KKL-JNF’s position as a global leader in environmental sustainability,” said Noah Tal, Director of KKL-JNF’s Planning Division. “We are proud to contribute to global efforts in tackling climate change and advancing sustainable development.”
At the conference, KKL-JNF will host a series of events in the Israeli pavilion, presenting groundbreaking pilot projects in solar energy, Forests as gateways to health and resilience and Israel’s first forest masterplan, which will highlight its contributions to advancing the United Nations’ strategic program for forests.
