A Celebration in the Forest: On the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, KKL-JNF Will Hold a Huge Event in Its Accessible Sites

The International Month of Persons with Disabilities will open at the KKL-JNF forests, with a huge event held at the Aminadav Forest and the Jordan Park. Hundreds of children, both with and with no disabilities, can enjoy different workshops and activities together.

Today (December 4), on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, KKL-JNF in collaboration with the Etgarim and the Lotem non-profit organizations, will present two exciting events in accessible sites: Aminadav Forest and Jordan Park. The two events are free and open to the public (registration required).

The events will include a rope station, handcycles and tandem bike riding, leading persons with disabilities on wheelchairs through travel tracks, perfume-creation workshops, oil-making workshops, and nature creation workshops in addition to educational KKL-JNF workshops.

Lea Fadida, KKL-JNF Public Relations Director: "These are two extremely exciting events. Over the past few years, KKL-JNF has been highly active in making as many sites and forests accessible for whoever wishes to visit them. I invite the public to bring the children to enjoy the events!"
