In Celebration of the Holiday Season: KKL-JNF Provided the Foreign Embassies in Israel with Fir Trees

KKL-JNF, in collaboration with the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, provided the staffs of foreign embassies in Israel with Fir trees for Christmas celebrations. In what became a tradition, the trees are especially grown for this purpose at the Golani Nursery in Northern Israel, to avoid unnecessary tree cutting.

Victoria Meirav, Head of the International Governments Relations at KKL-JNF: "KKL-JNF, in collaboration with the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, provides Fir trees that were especially grown for this purpose to the foreign embassies in Israel, so that their staffs can celebrate in the holiday season. This ongoing tradition is meant to respect our friends from all over the world, which avoiding tree cutting and protecting the environment. We wish happy Hannukah celebrations to all the people of Israel, and merry Christmas to all those who celebrate the holiday."
