Family Happening at the Mirsham Farmhouse
Going back in time to the very beginnings of the Jewish people – we will celebrate with various workshops, archaeological findings, a workshop where we'll make grape juice including pressing grapes in a wine press, deciphering and experiencing writing in ancient Hebrew script, a performance for children, and more.

Heroism & Rebirth – Escape Path Walk and Singalong
We will go for a walk on the escape path that crosses through the heart of the forest and tells the story of the "Escape Movement" – the Zionist organization that was responsible for bringing Holocaust survivors from Europe to Israel. We will conclude at a public singalong, where will we sing songs of the homeland and the illegal immigration.

Israeli Poets' Festival at Metulla
The public is invited to the Israeli Poets' Festival, a cultural celebration with a wealth of cultural events including poetry, music, encounters and fascinating dialogues between poetry lovers and poets and authors from all the different shades of Hebrew poetry and literature. Walking and Singing

120 Years of Love – Tu B'Av in KKL-JNF Forests
KKL-JNF invites you for a unique experience and unforgettable evening in anticipation of Tu B'Av. We will assemble to celebrate love of nature under the moonlight by tours and song. We will enjoy a special drink for lovers and light refreshments.
In addition, as part of the Tu B'Av events, a nostalgic photography exhibition entitled "Hebrew Love" with historical photos of moving moments of couples from the time of the first settlements and the establishment of the state will be on display: a brave couple from the Shomrim movement, a couple who survived the Holocaust and found peace at Kibbutz Hulata, a wedding at an army base during the War of Independence, and more.

By the Light of Lanterns
We will go for a fun outing for families with lanterns at twilight, when the sun sets, ending when darkness descends on the forest. We will walk the forest paths, sense and learn about the forest nightlife, and we will hear fascinating stories and anecdotes that will accompany us during our visit. We will also hear about the forest and how it develops, and about KKL-JNF and how it works to prevent forest fires.
The outing is suitable for parents and children age 5 and up
Each family will be given one lantern.
The number of participants is limited. The duration of each outing is about 2.5 hours.

110 Years Since Poet Leah Goldberg's Birth
We will meet in the forest for a day entirely devoted to the author and poetess Leah Goldberg. We will listen to stories that she wrote, we will watch a play with actors based on one of her works, we will sing songs and enjoy various activities and arts and crafts workshops.
