In honor of Shavuot, KKL-JNF invites the general public to various events, all free of charge. Events include a nostalgic Shavout photography exhibition, a Shavuot happening, an evening with song, cheese and wine, and more.

Shavuot First Fruits Black and White Photos

On Shavuot 5781, in honor of KKL-JNF's 120th anniversary, the KKL-JNF Photos Archive will be exhibiting nostalgic photos from first fruits celebrations in the land of Israel from the years before the founding of the state and from the first years of independence.

Shavuot Exhibition and Happening at the National Institutions Plaza

In honor of the Shavuot holiday and KKL-JNF's 120th anniversary celebrations, KKL-JNF invites the general public for a festive Shavuot happening at the National Institutions plaza in Jerusalem. The happening will include breathtaking holiday exhibits and a countrywide R&D stations agricultural innovations exhibition.

Song, Cheese and Wine Evening

KKL-JNF invites the general public for an evening of Israeli song along with cheese and wine. Choice agricultural produce from Israel's research and development stations will also be on display.

Hike to the Stream Trail in Tzipori

We will hike the stream trail in Tzipori, an accessible circular route about two kilometers long. We will pass through beautiful scenery, including a breathtaking view of the valley at the foot of the stream, and also visit a cave that was inhabited as early as the Bronze Age, along with viewing an oil press carved out of the rock. We will also hear about stream restoration and about making forest paths accessible to people with disabilities.

In the Footsteps of the Sheep – Ben Shemen Forest

KKL-JNF invites the general public for a unique meeting with a shepherd from the Ben Shemen Forest. We will learn about the shepherd's life, the purposes of grazing in the forest, and about caring for the flock. We will end with an arts and crafts workshop in the holiday spirit.

Israel Poets' Festival at Metula

The public is invited for poetry and literature meetings at Beit Rishonim, a first fruits parade on Harishonim Street, guided tours of Spring Park in Metula, and a view from the Dadu Observation Point.
