Volunteer Work in Israel

KKL-JNF invites the public to take part in green Zionism by joining its nationwide volunteer initiative and contributing to the State of Israel.

KKL-JNF offers two volunteer frameworks:
    1. Short-term volunteering: Groups interested in dedicating their time to a variety of volunteer initiatives that benefit the environment and the community.

    2. Ongoing volunteering: Independent volunteers and families who wish to take part in regular volunteer activities throughout the year.

Volunteer opportunities are wide-ranging, from forest patrols and reporting environmental hazards, through accompanying terrace rehabilitation groups, to volunteering in KKL-JNF offices and archives.

  • General information for regular volunteers

KKL-JNF welcomes all those joining its ranks of volunteers and thanks them for their readiness to take part in its activities. KKL-JNF views volunteers as its partners in the projects that it leads for the benefit of the Israeli public and promises to respect the volunteers' wishes, provide them with proper training and the equipment required to perform their jobs, and insure their activities. For their part, the volunteers accept upon themselves to act according to KKL-JNF's policy guidelines.
