Location: Yatir Forest
Description: Krayot Scenic Lookout is at the summit of the Mount Amasa spur, the highest area of Hevel Yatir. The observation deck, built from a metal pergola, is at the top of a slope that descends sharply to the Judean Desert, a fact that ensures a spectacular view of the surroundings. The view is indeed spectacular: the Judean Desert and the Arad Valley rest below and the Moab Mountains rise beyond the Syrian–African Rift. The scenic lookout commemorates Yitzhak Armoni, former head of Har Hevron Regional Council.
Directions: From Tel Arad Junction (Route 31) turn north onto Route 80. After 1.3 km the road reaches a junction with the road leading to Har Amasa. Continue for another 450 m and turn right towards Susya. Drive for 300 m and arrive at the scenic lookout.
