HaBitronot Scenic Lookout (Mitzpor HaBitronot)
Location: Be’eri Forest

Description: A scenic lookout overlooking Bitronot Be’eri Nature Reserve. The scenic lookout includes the ANZAC Trail – a tour route for drivers that follows the “Great Outflanking,” the route of the cavalry from Gaza, which took place secretly until they reached the surprise attack position to the west of Beersheba. There is an explanatory sign about the area in the days of World War I.

Directions: From Route 232 drive towards the gate of Kibbutz Be’eri. After 250 m, before the bike center, La Medavesh, turn right and drive east on the dirt road parallel to the access road (marked in green). After 200 m you reach a firm, white dirt road. The road turns east and after 900 m reaches the parking lot of the Badlands Scenic Lookout (Mitzpor HaBitronot).
