Location: Mount Gilboa scenic road.
Description: An observation deck next to the Mount Gilboa scenic road. Park about 50 meters from the scenic lookout and walk back along the path parallel to the road. The view is spectacular. From here you can see the Nazareth Mountains and Mount Devora, Mount Tabor and Givat Hamoreh, Ramat Yavniel and the Sea of Galilee, Kokhav HaYarden and of course Nahal Harod, which spreads through the valley below Mount Gilboa. Yitzhak Hido (1935–2009) was a KKL-JNF man and the Gilboa Forest was his life work.
