Hebrew name: Sataf
Location: Jerusalem Mountains
Description: The upper parking plaza at the Sataf site offers an excellent view of the hillside agricultural terraces that reconstruct ancient hilly agricultural methods. South of Sataf is the deep Nahal Soreq drainage basin, and beyond it is Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, the Yad Kennedy area, the Castel and the Gush Etzion region.
At the Sataf site, KKL-JNF has preserved the traditional agricultural landscapes that existed in the Land of Israel since the dawn of history. There are plots of land that use channel-fed irrigation that flows between ancient stone terraces and channels of water that flow from the springs to the vegetable gardens.
Directions: From the traffic circle to the south of Mevaseret Zion, at the intersection of Routes 3965 and 395.
