Vermeulen Camping Site and Barak Refael Camping Site

The two camping sites, one next to the other, are located in the northern part of the Be'eri Forest, close to the Sa'ad Junction

On the site: Picnic tables, drinking water, a disabled-accessible path to the observation point, IDF fallen soldiers memorial monuments, and blossoming Anemones in February.

Nearby sites: Derekh HaShisha Trail (open to private vehicles), the ANZAC Memorial, the Badlands Lookout in the Be'eri Forest, abandoned sulfur mines, northern Besor trail (for private vehicles), Be'eri Crater Reserve, Old Be'eri (Nakhabir), the Reservoirs Trail (open to private vehicles), bike trails.

Notes and restrictions: Booking to camp in the camping site depends on the security officer's approval and the instructions of security personnel in the Gaza Envelope area.
