KKL-JNf established a new birdwatching lookout in Margaliot, located on the Ramim Ridge of the Naftali Mountains. The site overlooks Kiryat Shmona, the Hula Valley, the Golan Heights and the Hermon Mountain.
Works in the area included building of an overlook balcony, pergola, benches and trails. The map and sitting spot were designed with the intention of blending them with the natural environment to provide visitors with a perfect experience.
KKL-JNF plans to plant trees around the lookout, where the statue "Follow My Lead" by artist Orna Ben Ami, which commemorates former IDF Chief of Staff Amnon Shahak (who passed away in 2012) will be placed.
