The town of Betzet is located in the Upper Galilee area, near the border with Lebanon, under the jurisdiction of the Mate Asher regional council. The town is set for a future expansion, in which 173 housing units are planned in the eastern and western neighborhoods.
KKL-JNF contributes through funding and supervision of the preparation works in the public areas only, to roads that border with the future private properties. The preparations include public infrastructures and road support works.
