Competition Structure

This competition is a single-staged and anonymous contest which is divided into two separate tracks: The professional track and the student track.

From the works submitted by the professional category, the panel of judges will select four works which will be chosen as an exemplary model for Israeli sustainable living, these works will receive a cash prize. From the selected works, up to two winning works will be chosen, whose creators will be invited to contact KKL-JNF for detailed planning, accompanying and participating in the building of the structures, from the presentation until their establishment at KKL-JNF's permanent sites.

From the students track, three works will be chosen to receive a cash prize.
 
The participants
 
The competition will take place in two separate tracks
 
1) The professionals track: Those participating in this track will have at least one team member, a team head, who is listed in Register for Engineers and Architects in Israel.  
 
2) The students track: For students of professions in design, architecture and planning, as specified in the competition rules.
 
Registration fees
 
Professionals:  NIS 250 for early registration and NIS 450 for later registration. Young architects (under age 35) will be charged a reduced fee as specified in the competition rules.
 
Students: Students will not be charged a registration fee.
 
Prizes
 
The two first-place winners in the professional track will be awarded prizes of NIS 20,000 each, and their creators will be invited to work with KKL-JNF in constructing the model buildings.
 
The second-place winner in the professional track will be awarded NIS 18,000, and the third-place winner will be awarded NIS 15,000.
 
The first-place winner in the student track will be awarded a prize of NIS 12,000.
The second-place winner will be awarded NIS 8,000, and the third-place winner will be awarded NIS 5,000.
