KKL-JNF invites the public to celebrate Passover with a wide variety of family activities. From the "Forest of Tales" (click here to register) and the family Passover happening to the meeting spots from the books – these are the KKL-JNF April events:

Forest of Tales and Activities

"Forest of Tales" – children's book festival
 
KKL-JNF invites families to the "Forest of Tales" festival, held at the Communities Recreation Area of the Ben Shemen Forest. Meet the heroes of some of the most beloved Israeli children books, including "A Flat for Rent", "Shmulik the Hedgehog", "Ayelet Takes a Walk", "Eliezer and the Carrot", "A Tale of Five Balloons" and many others.

Trees Tell Tales

The Forest's Tale – workshops and a children's show
 
Families are invited to a special KKL-JNF event, which includes a trip based on the forest's tale, workshops based on children's books, a children's show and much more. The activity will take place during the holiday in several locations throughout the country:

A Meeting Spot for Books

Come meet us in the forest: Passover activities, including a tour, a show, a creative workshop, an ecological game of snakes and ladders and much more

KKL-JNF invites you to bring your book, leave it for other readers at the "Forest Library" and take another book instead. The library will be active in several locations throughout the country

K8 Nature Sport Festival and the Jezreel March

K8 – a unique three-day festival in Kiryat Shmona. Participants can enjoy an unforgettable experience Set against Israel's most beautiful landscapes – along the Ramim Ridge and Kiryat Shmona
 
The festival offers a wide variety of climbing, challenge, walking and entertainment activities for travelers from age 4 and up.

Jezreel March
 
A march and bike ride from the Tzipori Fortress along the Tzupori Stream. The march provides a unique experience of walking in historical trails against the landscape of the Jezreel Valley.

Butterlfy Festival at the Hula Lake

Family activities at the botanical garden, a film screening, a show, butterfly-themed activities and much more

Passover Family Activities at Ilanot

Enjoy a unique experience at the heart of the Sharon area, in a forest where 350 different tree species from all over the world grow side by side.
 
When? The Botanical Garden is open all throughout the week, from 08:00 to 17:00. The visitor's center will be open on April 9-10 at 10:00, 11:15, 12:30, 13:45 and 15:00
Cost: 10 ILS for any visitors above the age of 3. Note: payment on site, cash-only, bring an exact amount.
 
Tours at the Botanical Garden are free and require no registration at 11:00 and 13:00.

"Nevi'ah" Festival

A heritage festival aimed at strengthening the connection to nature and the environment, and the connection between different parts of the Israeli society. It offers a wide variety of shows and community activities

On the Trail of the Fallen

Heritage tours guided by former IDF generals and accompanied by the families of the fallen who tell the story of their beloved

A Night of Songs and Tales

A special memorial event featuring Israeli songs and heroic tales with the families of the fallen
