The new cafe that has just opened at the Sataf site provides a different experience: The scent of coffee, mountain air and a breathtaking view of the Nahal Sorek.

For the first time, the Agamon Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of KKL-JNF received a tawny owl chick that was only a few days old. In the midst of the nesting season, dozens of chicks, among them several species of birds of prey, have received treatment in the Center before being returned to the wild.

As part of the national reconstruction efforts after the Swords of Iron War: KKL-JNF will establish youth villages (Gar'inim) of graduates of the pre-military preparatory programs in the Negev and Galilee, which will include subsidized housing for youth for the purpose of strengthening the local communities.
