A Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael – Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF) Ambassadors’ Conference was held last weekend in Buenos Aires, Argentina, organized by KKL-JNF’s Education and Community Division.

The Caucasian Willow Warbler, native to the regions of Georgia and Armenia, was spotted in KKL-JNF’s Rosh Tzipor Birding Center in Ganei Yehoshua, situated in the heart of Tel Aviv. It is extremely rare in Israel, with only four such birds ever recorded in the country.

Teucrium Procerum, a rare perennial herb primarily found in the Sharon and Menashe Heights regions, is now showing new signs of hope. For the first time, Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael-Jewish National Fund's (KKL-JNF) Eshtaol Nursery, together with KKL-JNF's Seed Unit and the Jerusalem Botanical Garden, has successfully propagated this rare plant, classified in Israel as critically endangered, after its distribution significantly declined since the mid-20th century. Today, it survives in only a few isolated locations in central Israel.

Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael–Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF) dedicated the Iron Swords Forest, established in memory of all soldiers and civilians who fell or were murdered since October 7 and throughout the war. The new forest, covering 367 dunams (approximately 90 acres) at Khirbet Mador near Be’eri Forest, will serve as a place of remembrance and renewal for thousands of bereaved families.
