The KKL – JNF delegation to The IUFRO World Forestry Conference, shares a new and unique forest strategic plan

A professional delegation from KKL – JNF are representing the State of Israel at the IUFRO World Forestry Conference in Stockholm in the presence of His Majesty CARL GUSTAF Folke Hubertus, King of Sweden.

The IUFRO World Congress, held every five years since 1893, is a premier global forestry event. The 2024 congress provides a platform for leading scientists and leaders to share knowledge and shape future research, focusing on forests and society towards 2050. It offers opportunities for innovation, dialogue, and collaboration. During the conference KKL-JNF representatives' meat global colleagues, gain insights, and promote its leadership in sustainable forestry and climate solutions.

KKL-JNF has a new strategic forest plan- 2050 for Israel that will address the publics’ right to nature and will improve the quality of life for all the residents of the State. KKL-JNF attracted many foreign and local visitors to their booth, discussing how the forests know no borders and the key to addressing the challenges of climate change is to work together.
