At the Segev Forest Recreation Area, distribution will take place on September 25-27 between 9:00 and 13:00. At the Hof Carmel Forest, fan palms schach will be distributed on September 25-27 between 9:00 and 13:00. At the Ben Shemen Forest, distribution will take place on September 27-28 between 9:00 and 13:00. The schach will be distributed near the Aliyat HaNoar Recreation Area, and signs with directions to the site will be place from Mitzpe Modi'in along Road 443.
Yaron Ohayon, Head of Soil Development Division at KKL-JNF: "Every year, in celebration of Sukkot, KKL-JNF provides the public with free schach for the holiday. Everyone is invited to the distribution spot at the Segev Forest in Northern Israel and at the Ben Shemen Forest in Southern Israel, where they can get a free schach. This way, we will celebrate the holiday properly, and protect the environment by preventing private and illegal pruning.
