KKL-JNF comes to the aid of the man and women on the front, and in collaboration with the Association for Israel's Soldiers, donates 120 shaded tables that were built in the KKL-JNF workshop of Gilat and Eshtaol, to be installed in different bases throughout the country.
The KKL-JNF benches are an integral part of the open fields all throughout Israel that travelers are used to see all the time. The KKL-JNF table is made of wood and is connected to wooden benches that allow comfortable gatherings. Its main purpose is to provide the opportunity for a picnic in the woods, but during wartime, it is used by soldiers for rest after the operational duties.
The wide spread of KKL-JNF benches is another part of the organization's projects array, which already included a donation of over five million ILS from its workers holidays to purchase equipment and food for IDF soldiers. Using this donation, teams of KKL-JNF workers have sent thousands of food packages and logistical equipment to IDF soldiers in Southern and Northern Israel since the beginning of the war.
