As part of the program, the children get to experience entrepreneurship and get a taste from the worlds of innovation. Students from the Kinneret Academic College joined the program, and they create new educational projects for the evacuated children.
Dr. Doron Merkel, KKL-JNF Chief Scientist: "As people have said already, Israel has one infinite resource: the human resource. The evacuated children are our future and at these complex times, we must maintain their education for innovative scientific thinking. Along with our partners in the college, we will keep holding these important activities until the return of regular schooling."
Anat Vexler, Staff and Collaboration Coordinator at the Kinneret Innovation Center: "The Kinneret Innovation Center comes to the help of the evacuated school children and for the farmers on the frontier with an emergency program aimed at increasing the economic and social strength, while taking advantage of our knowledge and experience in worlds of aggrotech, water, education and more. We thank KKL-JNF for supporting the education for innovation and entrepreneurship program for the evacuated children."
