"Migrating: a New Exhibition at the Hula Lake Will Present Photographs that Won the KKL-JNF Bird Photography Competition"

The bird photography marathon that takes place as part of the Zaparton birdwatching event is considered as one of Israel's most important nature photography competitions.
"Migrating", a new exhibition that will be presented at the Hula Lake on December 16 will present the winning photographs in the KKL-JNF 2022 bird photography competition.
The judges have sorted and ranked over 700 photographs. 28 of the chosen photographs were uploaded to the Israeli internet portal "Walla!" and the site's visitors chose the "People's Favorite". Three of the pictures were taken as part of a special section of the competition for mobile photography on the subject of the climate crisis and bio-diversity.

Efrat Sini, Manager of the KKL-JNF Photo Archive: "Every year, the KKL-JNF Zaparaton photography competition provides us with a peak at the beautiful sight of some of the birds that pass through our country or make it their home. The KKL-JNF photo archive, which produces the exhibition, keeps nature and environment photos from as early as the beginning of the 20th century, and we are happy to keep documenting the country's landscapes and share the photographs with the public.

The exhibition will be presented at the gallery floor (floor 1) of the Hula Lake Visitors' Center, from December 16, 2022 to February 15, 2022. Opening hours: Sunday to Thursday – entry from 08:00 to 16:00, visitors are required to leave by 17:00. Friday-Saturday - entry from 06:30 to 16:00, visitors are required to leave by 17:00.
