National Cleanup Day Activities in KKL-JNF Forests around Israel
 
 
In preparation for Cleanup Israel Day, which begins on October 27, 2021, KKL-JNF is encouraging the general public to help clean up the forests.

KKL-JNF will be holding cleanup events in forests all over the country for the public to join. Included on the program are the preservation and cleanup of forests paths and trails; creative experiential activities related to environmental quality; educational workshops on forest environments and waste management; theatrical games and clowns; meetings with colorful figures that will take us on a journey of discovery and appreciation of urban nature; and much more.

Activities are scheduled for October 27, 28 & 29, 2021 in KKL-JNF forests throughout the country.

The activities are suitable for individuals, and for organized groups, including offices, educational institutions and community organizations.

Participants will be provided with garbage bags, gloves and t-shirts.


Regarding all events, please note:

  • Activities will be carried out in full compliance with Ministry of Health guidelines regarding the green pass, social distancing and masks.
  • Participation is free, subject to pre-registration.
  • The number of participants is limited.
  • In case of change/postponement/cancellation an event, we will notify you by phone or to the email address you provided at the time of registration.

Tzippori Forest Cleanup Day Family Happening

A KKL-JNF event in the spirit of World Cleanup Day, with the aim of raising awareness of our environment and the importance of keeping the forests clean.

When?
Wednesday, October 27, 2021/21 Cheshvan, 5782, between 09:00 and 15:00.
A KKL-JNF event in the spirit of World Cleanup Day, with the aim of raising awareness of our environment and the importance of keeping the forests clean.

What’s on the program?
  • Collecting garbage and placing it in the provided garbage bags.
  • Guided tour of the forest at 11:00 (subject to a minimum of interested participants).
  • Circular walking trail, about 3 km long.
  • Experiential and practical workshops on the subject of the environment, including the opportunity to try out the "The Human Generator" - a device that uses green energy (foot pedaling) to generate electricity - between the hours of 10:00 - 14:00.
Accessibility
The tour is not accessible to wheelchairs and strollers.

  • Experiential and practical workshops on the subject of the environment, including the opportunity to try out the "The Human Generator" - a device that uses green energy (foot pedaling) to generate electricity - between the hours of 10:00 - 14:00.

British Park Cleanup Day Family Happening

A KKL-JNF event in the spirit of World Cleanup Day, with the aim of raising awareness of our environment and the importance of keeping the forests clean.

When?
Friday, October 29, 2021/23 Cheshvan, 5782, between 09:00 and 14:00.
A KKL-JNF event in the spirit of World Cleanup Day, with the aim of raising awareness of our environment and the importance of keeping the forests clean.

What’s on the program?
  • Short tours in groups of 30, at 09:00, 10:30 and 12:00.
  • During the tours, we will collect garbage along the way, for disposal in the garbage bags provided.
  • Creative workshops and activities for families.

The tour is not accessible to wheelchairs and strollers.
