JAN-FEB: Taste of the Valleys (Teamim BaAmakim) festival in the Jezreel Valley (Emek Yizre'el)The Taste of the Valleys Festival (Teamim BaAmakim) is when the people of the Jezreel Valley and the Galilee open up their kitchens and hearts to visitors from all around Israel and overseas.
Throughout the days of the festival, this region's leading restaurants present special menus to its diners at not-to-be-missed prices. In addition, there is a plethora of culinary workshops, events, exhibitions and tastings held throughout the valley.
This year (2018) the festival runs from Sunday, January 28 until Sunday February 11.
The festival traditionally opens with a festive ceremony at Kibbutz Yifat’s Jezreel Valley Museum a week beforehand (This year on January 21st).
