    Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael–Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF) approved last night a major 273 million NIS budget allocation for communities along Israel’s northern border and for the development of the Golan region. The funding marks one of the largest allocations approved for northern Israel in recent months, against the backdrop of the ongoing security and civilian crisis in the area.

    Today (April 28, 2026), the Board of Directors of Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael–Jewish National Fund (KKL–JNF) appointed Ilan Shohat as the organization’s Chief Executive Officer, following a unanimous recommendation by the search committee chaired by KKL–JNF Chairman Eyal Ostrinsky.
