  • Israel's Early Almond Blossoms Paint Jerusalem Hills Pink and White

    The first almond trees of the season have been spotted blooming earlier than usual this year in the Sataf and Jerusalem Hills area, according to Dudu Morad, Manager of the Sataf Park in Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael–Jewish National Fund’s (KKL-JNF) Central District.

  • Renewal in the Galilee: The New Campus of the Hannaton Educational Center was Launched This Week

    The people of the Hannaton Educational Center cut the ribbon this week on the new pre-military preparatory school campus, which was established in cooperation with Keren Kayemet LeIsrael – Jewish National Fund. This, three months after the inauguration of a house for lone soldiers in the Educational Center – for students who recently completed their course of training in preparation for significant service in the IDF. This project, which began in August 2024, included: adding a new residential floor, renovation and upgrade of existing structures, and establishment of supporting infrastructure for the students of the Educational Center.

    The autumn migration is almost at an end, and the 'wintering' season is before us. Most of the cranes located at the lake shall remain with us all winter, until the coming of the spring.
