COP 15 Conference in 2009
COP 15 was held in December 2009, in Copenhagen. KKL-JNF formed part of the official Israeli delegation headed by the Israeli Foreign Ministry and the Ministry for Environmental Protection.

| The KKL-JNF delegation to Copenhagen vowed to join the international pledge for technology transfer and came with the intent of sharing KKL-JNF information with those in need. In the week of the conference KKL-JNF set up a booth at the main exhibition hall to promote international cooperation and technology sharing, which created overwhelming interest from representatives of many counties, impressed by KKL- JNF accomplishments, in creating partnerships and receiving information. During a side-event entitled "Adapting to Arid Climate Conditions – Updated Research and Development Practices from Israel", a KKL-JNF representative spoke about "Afforestation Practices in Semi-Arid Conditions to Promote Adaptation" and described KKL-JNF's accomplishments in foresting arid and semi-arid regions, harvesting of runoff water, planting and managing forests in such regions, land conservation and preventing erosion, monitoring and research.
